Literary Estates and Archives

Literary estates, archives and original hand-written manuscripts are unique sources for literary research, in that they can shed light on the various stages texts go through in the writing process. Estate materials are also irreplaceable in their value for biographical, historical, cultural and interdisciplinary research as well as projects involving particular editions of a work. The following describes the full and partial literary estates which the International Youth Library has in its holdings.
