Crazy Machines!? Vehicles, Robots and other incredible inventions
Children's literature is full of funny inventions and fantastic machines: There is the excessive-heat-school-closure-regulator, flying bicycles or the good-morning wake-up machine of the two Finnish super inventors Tatu and Patu. The exhibition “Crazy Machines!?” presents a selection of these curious inventions. There are marvellous vehicles to marvel at that float, drive, glide, and circle on land, on water, in the air, or even through time. But how do they work, and could crazy mechanisms be lurking behind seemingly ordinary machines? Could it be that cats actually lick the cutlery clean in the dishwasher or that excavators are used to prepare cake batter? Exciting!
Visitors have the opportunity to slip into the role of an inventor themselves.
