On a tour of the book castle lasting about one and a half hours, visitors get to know the castle and the library. They learn exciting facts about the history of the medieval castle and discover the diverse areas of the International Youth Library. The tour leads through the study library, the battlements gallery, the literature museums and the medieval castle chapel. It ends for children and young people with a reading session in the children's library.
Special requests for topics are gladly considered after consultation.

Monday to Thursday: 10 am - 4 pm
Friday: 10 am - 2 pm

You can cancel your booking free of charge up to three working days before the tour starts at the latest. After that, the tour fee will be due in full.
