Tickets for NotenTexte: "Pettersson und Findus"

Advance ticket sales begin on September 22, 2026!

For the past five years, the International Youth Library and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra (BRSO) have been presenting “NotenTexte: Music and Literature for Children.” These children’s concerts combine language and music. A narrator tells popular stories, ranging from “The Gruffalo” to works by Erich Kästner and Otfried Preußler. Meanwhile, an ensemble of musicians from the BRSO uses sounds and melodies to create an atmosphere that brings the texts to life.

“The Santa Machine” by Swedish author Sven Nordqvist offers a unique way to get into the Advent spirit. At Christmas, wishes come true. Pettersson wants to grant one to his lively cat Findus, who wants nothing more than to meet Santa Claus. While the two prepare for the holiday, Pettersson tinkers with a Santa Claus machine. But not everything goes as planned…
