James Krüss Prize 2026

The James Krüss Prize 2026 goes to Dutch author Anna Woltz and her translator Andrea Kluitmann. The author is being honoured for her work that shows ‘extraordinary precision, excellent characterisation and wonderfully pointed dialogue’ when telling the stories about children and young people whose worlds have been turned upside down.

The award ceremony will take place on 2 July 2026 at the International Youth Library. You find further information about the event here.
