Response-Project "WasserWerke"

A cooperation with BRSO education

Water flows, rushes, splashes, streams and drips. Linguistically and musically, water is a creative element that we encounter in a wide variety of forms, as a jet of water, a wild stream, a wave or raindrops.

Pupils of the 6th grade of the Maria-Ward-Realschule in Nymphenburg, together with a music mediator, professional musicians and a lyricist, go on a journey of discovery and play with sounds and words on the subject of water. The one-week workshop will result in musical-lyrical water works.

Project period: May 16 until 22, 2022

Team:
Karin Fellner: poet and author
Uta Sailer: music mediator, music journalist and radio host at BR Klassik

A project by Young Symphony / Wiener Symphoniker, Vienna. In cooperation with MEHR MUSIK!, Augsburg, BRSO Education / Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks with the International Youth Library, Munich, Monika Sigl-Radauer, Salzburg, and MOVE.ON / Bruckner Orchester Linz, Linz.
