Magic Rally for Witchcraft and Wizardry at Blutenburg Castle

Blutenburg Castle

On the occasion of the opening of the cabinet exhibition "Harry Potter und der Stein der Weisen", Schloss Blutenburg is transformed into a school of magic. A festival for the whole family.

To participate in the rally, the children take on the role of a student of magic. To solve the castle quiz, they first have to complete some magic school lessons. They change into new characters, learn how to mix potions, or continue their education in herbology or fortune-telling. During the breaks, there will be time for a game with the Munich Wolpertinger Quidditch team or for creating your own magic wand, which of course every witch and wizard should have in their pocket. Visitors are also welcome to come in costume.

So while the children are cramming in the magic school, the adults can visit the exhibitions of the International Youth Library or take part in a guided tour. In addition, the publisher Klaus Human, will tell in a lecture accompanying the cabinet exhibition how they discovered "Harry Potter und der Stein der Weisen" back then and made it popular in Germany. In addition, the children's library will be open for browsing.
