Micaela Chirif is one of the outstanding voices of children's and youth literature in South America. Her philosophical-poetic texts are original, profound and leave readers plenty of room for their own associations. As a guest at the White Ravens Festival for International Children's and Youth Literature, she will talk about her work and the art of writing for young people. The focus will be on her book "El mar," which won the Premio Hispanoamericano de Poesía para Niños. The German edition, "Das Meer," was very well received by critics.
