"How War Changed Rondo" - Romana Romanyschyn and Andrij Lessiw

Romana Romanyschyn and Andrij Lessiw will read from their children's book "When War Changed Rondo" (Gerstenberg Verlag), and other works.

Both live and work in Lviv. After studying at the National Academy of Arts, they founded Studio Agrafka and have been working as authors, designers and illustrators ever since. Together they have written, illustrated and designed numerous books for children and adults. Internationally successful, their books have been translated into 22 languages and have won several awards, including the 2018 Bologna Ragazzi Award.

In their talk with students, they tell about their life and work in Ukraine during these times of war.

Reading and talk in English and German.

For 6th and 7th grade students.

Moderated by Niels Beintker (BR).
