"I know something you don't know"

World knowledge for young people from the 18th century to the present in the light of the Werner Ziesel collection

Non-fiction books for children and young people invite their readers to immerse themselves in all areas of knowledge. They convey the most diverse knowledge from technology, physics or the biology of animals and plants. They show the everyday life of children in the country and in the city, deal with geography, ethnology, the history of the earth and mankind, astronomy, discoveries, inventions, music, curiosities and much more. The exhibition presents a wonderful chamber of knowledge. Rare historical real-world books from Werner Ziesel's recently acquired collection of historical children's and young adult books are contrasted with current non-fiction picture books.

The opening will be held in German by Wiebke Puls (Münchner Kammerspiele).
