Concert and Reading

NotenTexte. Mozart's games in word and music

Jella-Lepman-Hall

A musical-literary evening

The exciting interplay of music and literature is given a stage in the series "NotenTexte. Musical-literary evenings" series of the Bayerischer Rundfunk. Music and literature refer to each other, harmonise with each other and with each other, sounds, rhythms and pitches are taken up and retold by texts and vice versa. Literary and musical language complement and enrich each other, and develop a great sensual power in their cooperation and opposition. The series "NotenTexte" aims to open up associative spaces and create special listening experiences.

The first evening of the "NotenTexte" series this year is dedicated to the work of W. A. Mozart. The Divertimento in E flat major, KV 563, a late work by Mozart, will be played. With it, "he rises far above the miseries of his life, forgets them all, dreams and rejoices," wrote Mozart biographer Annette Kolb. The Munich actor Stefan Wilkening will read a biography in letters entitled "Hier bin ich gern". An evening curated by Antonio Pellegrino of BR2 radioTexte.
