Musical Afternoon Concert

An evening with Binette Schroeder

Jella-Lepman-Hall

Mysterious landscapes, bewitched gardens, fairy-like creatures, enchantingly beautiful girls, elegant crocodiles in a café, flying Munchausen or funny Humpty Dumpty: For more than 50 years, Binette Schroeder has been creating delicate, magical picture book worlds that have touched and shaped generations.

In numerous lectures, the award-winning illustrator has spoken about her view of picture book illustration and pointed out the importance of aesthetic education. In the process, she has made a name for herself as a passionate speaker and ambassador for artistically sophisticated illustration.

Now her new picture book "Herr Grau & Frieda Fröhlich" is published, about which she talks with journalist Margarete von Schwarzkopf.
