The children’s lending
library offers 25,000 books in thirteen languages and a media collection
for children and teenagers. The use of the children's lending library is
free of charge.
In addition to about 12,000 books in German, users can browse books in the following languages: Dutch, English, French, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Persian, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Spanish, and Turkish. Moreover, the library offers an interesting and varied program of activities for children – naturally focusing on books and stories from around the world.
Children who would like to get a library card should bring a parent or relative with them on their first visit (as we need address details and a valid ID card to process the library card).
